Your challenge:

Manage, organize, and supervise all activities of the mechanical engineering department, ensuring design quality, compliance with internal standards (technical, quality, safety), and resource optimization.

Provide support for both production lifecycles and new product development.

Your missions:

• Design and adapt mechanical products in compliance with specifications, while integrating cost, quality, deadline, and safety constraints.
• Participate in needs analysis and drafting technical specifications and design documents.
• Supervise the creation/modification of 2D/3D drawings, bills of materials, FMEAs, and technical files.
• Ensure the filing and management of documentary expertise.

Managing serial life and improving performance:

• Provide technical support to production and cross-functional departments.
• Analyze quality feedback and monitor corrective action plans.
• Participate in problem solving, product modifications, and reject processing.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (quality, reliability, eco-design).
• Coordinate product productivity (materials, labor, technical).

Manage R&D projects and ensure their deployment:

• Contribute to project feasibility analyses.
• Deploy R&D projects (particularly at the EZZ site) and oversee their management (planning, budget, resources).
• Ensure product qualification (trials, endurance tests, validation).
• Lead project reviews and write progress reports.
• Integrate new products into the industrial cycle and monitor them.

Manage the mechanical design office and series production teams:

• Organize, plan, and supervise the department’s activities.
• Validate plans, deliverables, and technical documentation.
• Supervise business reviews and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
• Lead product change committees.
• Ensure regular reporting to management.
• Develop working methods in line with the ISO 9001 approach.

Your are the ideal candidate if:

• You hold a mechanical and/or electromechanical engineering degree with a specialization in mechanical design.
• You have 8 to 10 years of experience in a mechanical engineering office, including at least 2 years in team management.
• You have proven experience in managing cross-functional technical projects.
• You are proficient in product development processes and deliverables.
• You are adept at project management techniques.
• You demonstrate strong leadership, adaptability, and flexibility.
• You are organized, a good communicator, and possess strong team spirit.
