Your challenge
Monitor current and future processes within the relevant workshop in line with the objectives of:
- Improving the capability of production facilities
- Define the optimal process to ensure: customer return rate, scrap rate; material costs, defect rate
- Ensure that the sector’s productivity meets the company’s targets
Your main responsibilities will therefore be:
Mission 1
Analyse existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- To oversee the implementation and coordination of the FMEA Process.
- Define and carry out the experimental design.
- Identify and define the key process parameters.
- Develop the quality control plan (QCP) and implement statistical process control.
- Analysing and optimising manufacturing resources and processes
- Monitoring of critical process parameters
- Measure and analyse the results achieved to assess the effectiveness of the improvements implemented.
- Carry out preliminary studies prior to undertaking reliability improvement projects,increased capacity, improved productivity and reduced losses.
- Develop detailed action plans to implement the proposed improvements, working closely with the company’s stakeholders.
Mission 2
To ensure that safety, quality, cost and deadline targets are met
- Assist with daily production
- Facilitate working groups with the support team and operators. (Process-related).
- Train and keep production and support departments informed about developments in the sector, line or role.
- Help resolve internal and external quality issues in close collaboration with the quality department.
- Ensure compliance with production standards.
- Analyse issues and oversee the implementation of the action plan and the associated outcomes.
- Attend production meetings to gain an understanding of day-to-day issues.
- Monitor and control processes using tools such as dashboards and key performance indicators.
- Implement corrective actions relating to defect and scrap rates.
Mission 3
Develop and adapt new processes in response to customer requests
- Act as an expert in process and product development projects.
- To make processes more robust and flexible, in particular by reducing reliance on operators.
- Smonitor and approve pre-production runs.
- Develop plans for new processes to meet specific customer requirements.
- Phelp train staff on new processes.
Mission 4
Qualification/approval of process or product modifications
- To qualify new processes and products, as well as their developments, by validating the statistical capability of the processes.
- Determine the certification requirements for the proposed modifications.
- Define and validate product and component qualification/approval plans.
You are the ideal candidate if :
⚙️ You have a thorough understanding of industrial processes and continuous improvement tools (FMEA, 5M, 8D, SPC, DOE).
🌍 You are comfortable working in an international environment and are able to collaborate across different sites within the Cotherm Group.
📊 VYou are able to analyse performance (OEE, quality, etc.), identify areas for improvement and manage action plans.
💻 You are comfortable using analytical tools, project management software, CAD and reading technical drawings.
🤝 You are able to collaborate effectively with production, maintenance and quality teams in a multi-site environment.
You are thorough, responsive and a natural leader, with strong organisational skills and an excellent team spirit.
