Votre Challenge
Ensure the supply of materials to the various production sites by drawing up supplier order schedules and managing the flow of components, whilst optimising stock levels and logistics costs.
Be the point of contact for production, sales, procurement and the design office.
Mission 1
Oversee the management of stocks of raw materials, components and finished goods
- Monitor stock levels and demand forecasts to ensure sufficient availability of materials and finished goods.
- Analyse stock data to identify trends and opportunities to optimise stock levels.
- Establish stock management policies, alert thresholds and replenishment processes.
- Coordinate with other departments to plan short- and long-term production requirements and ensure that stock levels are aligned with these plans.
- Manage issues relating to raw material shortages, overstocking and wastage of finished goods.
- Evaluate suppliers on their ability to supply high-quality materials that comply with standards and are delivered on time.
Mission 2
Supplier Management: Ensuring the timely delivery of materials and products
- Identify potential suppliers and assess their ability to supply high-quality materials and products at competitive prices.
- Negotiate purchase terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure competitive prices, acceptable delivery times and favourable payment terms.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth communication and the rapid resolution of any issues.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement action plans to resolve issues relating to quality, delivery or service.
Mission 3
Cost monitoring: keeping track of procurement and inventory costs and working to reduce them
- Carry out a cost analysis for each purchase, taking into account all the costs involved.
- Review current procurement practices and propose improvements to reduce procurement costs.
- Negotiate payment terms with suppliers to improve the company’s cash flow.
- Implement tools for monitoring stock and demand.
- Monitor the prices of raw materials and supplies and build relationships with suppliers.
- Develop strategies to reduce procurement costs, such as consolidating orders, reducing transport costs and negotiating long-term contracts.
- Assess suppliers’ performance in terms of quality and cost.
- Analyse market trends and price fluctuations to forecast future procurement costs and develop plans to manage them.
- Provide regular reports on procurement costs and the savings achieved through effective cost management strategies.
Mission 4
Manage the team under their responsibility
- Determine staffing requirements.
- Define and monitor the induction schedule for new recruits who report directly to them.
- Continuously assess staff.
- Assess the training needs of staff.
- Build staff skills and develop their versatility.
You are the ideal candidate if:
📦 You have a thorough understanding of procurement processes, from requirements planning to managing supplier orders.
🌍 You are comfortable working in an international environment and are able to collaborate across different sites within the Cotherm Group.
📊 You are able to analyse stock levels, anticipate stock-outs and optimise costs and lead times.
💻 VYou are familiar with ERP systems (M3, SAP, etc.) and supply chain management tools.
🤝 You have strong negotiation skills and are able to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal teams across multiple sites.
