Exclusive technology

The EcoFlex-55 solution is the result of research by Cotherm’s teams of engineers and test laboratories into a cost-effective solution for improving the energy efficiency of water heaters. EcoFlex already equips French brands, manufacturers of electric storage water heaters as well as export manufacturers.

The basic concept: to ensure a precise temperature with a remarkable ECO point of 55°C.
Unlike conventional thermostats with rigid probes, EcoFlex is fitted with an aluminium alloy probe offering greater accuracy thanks to the material’s higher coefficient of expansion. EcoFlex is factory-calibrated for optimum accuracy at the ECO-55 position, offering the above benefits. With EcoFlex-55, the length of a heating cycle has been extended, limiting the number of times the electrical circuit is opened and closed. This preserves the quality of the silver contacts. The cover is fitted with a welded tamper-evident cap, guaranteeing constant factory-set temperature calibration. Access to the terminals has been modified to make it easier to fit the electrical cables, avoiding errors and ensuring better durability over time.
